Expecting a Miracle

Another Good Family Christian Movie
This is another good movie about love & marriage and in today's world. This movie makes a strong suggestion about "hanging in there" in a "complicated" marriage. (What loving marriages worth keeping is not somewhat complicated)?
The story brings up suggestions why a couple should remain married and not the quick and easy out because things don't go "quite right".
Again it is touched by Christian/Spirituality and interjecting a connection that belongs in a marriage rather than--"we can always get a divorce"....
Regarding the see through night gown---I played this movie in slow motion more than once and never saw the 'see through' part. I did see a woman's slip or other type of of cover up under the blue night gown. Never was there any offense to what she was wearing, nor did I see anything that a child or an adult watching this movie.

Expecting a Miracle
This is a family movie that has a wonderful message of faith and perserverence. I have recommended this movie to my friends with children.

pleasantly surprised
I didn't expect this movie to be more than a passable low-budget movie. But it exceeded my expectations in every way. The story line was well executed, as well as all of the acting. Take a chance on it, it is family friendly!

Brotherhood of Justice

RETURNING VIOLENCE WITH VIOLENCE ONLY MAKES THINGS WORSE
If you have children, this would be a very good movie to teach them a lesson with.

Talented Keanu Reeves convincingly plays Derek, a quarterback and natural born leader of a group who later call themselves "The Brotherhood of Justice." They form after a senior high school meeting led by the Principal, discusses vandalism and thefts going on at their school. He doesn't realize he is doing it, but he's really what started this "mess" in the first place.

The "revenge" begins controlled. It actually makes sense at first; but violence just grows like a brush fire. Each "punishment" by the brotherhood gets more violent. Derek, played by Keanu, calls it stops and not a second too late.

The ending is very good; parents will be proud to see justice done. I recommend you sit down and watch this entire movie with your children, explaining and answering questions as the movie progresses. There are some excellent role models to watch;...

No Ted Logan here!
Keanu Reeves really nailed down this part as a Harvard bound, high school quarterback who leads a group of vigilantes in the mid 1980s. Kieffer Sutherland also stars but has nothing much to do but steal Keanu's character's girlfriend. This movie is a must see for Keanu fans.

Old School Keanu and Keifer!
A classic old movie. Keanu Reeves and Keifer Sutherland from way back. I always liked this movie, not alot of people remember it. If your a fan of the actors, I recommend it!

Armored

A little more suspense
The classic take on what happens when people get greedy. Yeah, the movie is for the most part predictable and somewhat cliche ridden. Overall, it's not the worst movie I've seen. Good flick on a rainy day or night when nothing else is on. While it may not overwhelm you with it's storyline you at least will be entertained.....and then go on about your business!

A thoroughly disappointing and depressing story line...
Upon viewing the trailers, I waited in anticipation to see this movie. I have just seen it and the first thing I did was google the writer to see if maybe he is a wealthy personality, who once had his money stolen during an armored car transfer and maybe this script was now his closure and revenge? This movie ought to be entitled "How stupid can you be with 42 million dollars"? The subtitle should read "Why didn't you just stay home"? Some of the other reviews here talk of "predictability" in this movie. Are we reviewing the same film (Armored)? To the contrary, this movie is so depressingly unpredictable, that it breaks your heart. Some of the other reviews speak of a "great story line", only if you are some law enforcement officer with an axe to grind, I guess. One review speaks of star power at it's peak and "everyone did a bang-up job". Again, what movie did you see, because this was a complete waist of star power. I don't even know why Lawrence Fishburne accepted a script like...

Amazingly Awful Script
While the script of this movie is so full of holes that it becomes laughable, the movie does have minimal entertainment value because some of the acting and action sequences are decent. And in fact, the underlying "story" is so mindless, so shallow, and so amateurish, that these aspects become entertaining in themselves, in the "so bad that it's good" manner, reminiscent of the old Mystery Science Theatre 3000 shows. So I guess if you approach this film with low or no expectations, you will get some enjoyment out of it.

I've got some good news, and I've got some bad news . . .
But mostly good news.

However, being that the very first 'reviewer' on the scene chose to post information better suited to the discussion section (at the bottom of the product listing) into the REVIEW section instead (for which it clearly doesn't quality), you should consider this the first legitimate review of this product.

I'm not going to bother reviewing the content of the films in this set as I've already reviewed some of them, as have many others, when they appeared in earlier, similar sets from BCI/Eclipse. Reviews are plentiful for every single title in this set, and Mill Creek's various new multi-movie collections are essentially repackagings of the Crown International Pictures library they inherited from BCI. As such, there are some VERY enjoyable pictures in this set.

But this is just a basic overview of the presentation of each film within the set.

The good news is, you get EIGHT of the twelve films presented widescreen...

B Movie Fan's Rejoice Galaxina is a rare treat
I just received this set, and have only watched Superchick and Galaxina, both prints or transfers I'd give 4/5, Superchick, was about the style and kind of movie I was expecting from this set, but Galaxina such a rare treat, to have a good print of this film in my collection I feel so rich. I doubt any exceptional or unexceptional B sci-fi like this will ever go to blu ray, and will probably go out of print in the next few years. This is easily one of if not the best cheesy B scifi flicks ever, get this set!!!
I've watched a few more of the movies now, and I am happy to report Mill Creek has finally stepped up their game all the transfers are good to very good, and complete, not like their previous bargain sets poor transfers, cuts, and sound drops, also there are no annoying logos in the corner of the films :)) I'm very pleased with this set, Hustler Squad was a great flick too, nice price, great deal.

great
my baby stayed busy for hours. He got a chance to look at more than one show and I was happy

Most Spongebob Episodes Now are Stupid
Brings back memories of when I was young. First, second, third, and fourth seasons were the best until they started getting stupid. The review team must of changed everything, or ran out of funny ideas, and started making mindless gross stupid episodes such as "trenchbillys" and "Stuck in the Wringer"

GREAT!!
SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS IS A HILARIOUS SHOW. I DOWNLOADED THIS FOR MY KIDS BECAUSE WE HAD A LONG ROAD TRIP TO TAKE. IT DOWNLOADED VERY FAST AND WE DIDN'T HAVE ANY PROBLEMS ON THE ROAD!! GREAT BUY!

Lyekka vs. Japan

Tales fm a Parallel Earth....
(First paragraph SPOILERS):
The big bugship Lexx literally comes down to earth.... or at least to an insane parody of it. During the series' storyline, Lexx has crossed between light and dark universes so many times, it's easy to lose track, in spite of the baldly stated fact that this is the "Dark Zone." Also, "Earth" (or this universe's strange version thereof) is apparently formed after the destruction of the previous season's allegory planets Fire & Water. And archenemy (Isambard) Prince was last seen falling to this Earth.

After the sheer surrealism and intense sexuality of the first "season" 's movies, the epic dramedy and friskiness of Season 2, and the relative seriousness of the shorter season 3, this final season, which operates like a second half of S3, takes yet another tone. As in S2, the universe (let alone Earth) is in danger of being invaded by voracious and hungry aliens, which include hordes of nasty little carrot-like robot-thingies. Complicating...

movie
i like watching movies and have enjoyed yours. like the imagination, like the plot and like to thank you for the story

Lexx. - Thought it was a classic
I am a big Sci-Fi fan. I routinely purchase "Made for TV" or "Made for Cable" series, so I had read and heard that LEXX was another well-accepted "classic". It ran for four years, so obviously it had a following. I found that LEXX is kind of a cross between "Farscape" and the "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" genre. I guess you either like it or you don't. I really enjoyed "Farscape"..... and especially enjoyed "Firefly"..... but LEXX not so much. "Star Trek"....." Battlestar Galactica".... both very elegant and engaging series. LEXX is much more "blue collar". Some guts and gore mixed with a little female sensuality at times and very bizarre humor. When they qualify it as "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy"..... yeah, I'd say that is fairly accurate. Just don't expect "elegance" in this series.

Just One Bite

She likes it
My 2 year old hacked the password on her Kindle fire and downloaded this along with about $100.00 worth of others. I locked her down and changed my password. She loves them though so I kept it for her. Plus it is her Kindle anyway so I'll have her feed the dogs for a few months and make her think she earned them.

Nephew loves it!
It certainly is a time killer! Nephew will watch on my kindle for a while (he's almost 3) if I really need to distract him.

Love it
My little one loves looking at this. I think it's funny too. I play it on his kindle and he thinks its the best thing ever. I should note he's five months and probably only sees blobs of color but he's fascinated by these blobs. We watch videos because he's been in a PICU for a while.
