AWESOME, EDUCATIVE AND ENTERTAINING, EVEN FOR ADULTS!
This is a rather unusual DVD, it has animal stories in poetry form, and my kids (5 & 6) just love it! For the price, you'll get 4 full hours of joy, with story after story, each one with a special life lesson (fable). You will not regret it!
Awesome Series
I happened across this dvd in Walmart in the 2.50 bin. I bought it as a what the heck, why not. cant beat 4 hours of cartoons for 2.50. I have a 20 month old and a 6 year old niece who absolutly love this dvd. I went back to try to find another copy and they were out. I have to order it again because my niece wants a copy at her house. The stories are fun for even me to watch. they are also calm enough that your baby can go to sleep to them if they want unlike pocoyo who makes my kiddo want to run and jump. :) Love this dvd.
Long-playing, keeps the kids happy
This is a GREAT DVD for sick days or other times when you really need the kids to be happy to watch TV for a while. At more than four hours running time, with each episode just a few minutes long, you can get some rest!
The stories tend to be about self-acceptance, accepting others, and being yourself. Don't expect them to learn much about the real world of animals ;-) but the messages are benign. With a Seussian sing-song rhyming style, it can get corny at times, but it's not as annoying as Barney.
I would give if five stars if the stories were just a bit better and if it didn't have the repetitive theme song in between EVERY episode.
