female fighting movie
as an avid female fight fan i was very excited when this movie came out the storyline is very good and the fight scenes are quite brutal , no messing about here, although the fight scenes could have been longer but all in all a very good movie and a rare treat for female fight fans.
Jeanette Roxborough can act.
I purchased a few female fight movies;some with actors who have been around and others new in front of the camera.Of the last three I purchased,I enjoyed Bare Knucles the best.Jeanette has been around awhile as a stunt person but not so much in front;especially as the lead. Not only can she appear to fight well but she can geniuely act.I look forward to any other movie she does as an actor.I compared this movie to one called Honeybee and the other called The Opponent.HoneyBee is from 2001 but that really isn't any reason for such poor acting and weak storyline. The only selling point would be the blonde in the bedroom if that's what you expect in an action film.Jeanette's strong acting and better than expected storylind did not requied nudity to sell the film. The other was The Opponent starring Erika Eleniak.I guess this suppose to show-off her acting abilities and down play her phyical attributes. It truly missed the mark. The storyline was also weak as was her acting. For me,she cannot...
Fun action movie
The fight scenes are as good as any Mortal Kombat or Cynthia Rothrock film, but a lot more Mona(Baby Doll Riley) and a lot less of Samantha's creepy daughter would have been nice. SSSHHHEEE'S OOOUUUTTT!!!
