Kind of a mediocre movie...
...I only got this because my kids like the Eragon books; they wanted this DVD and they wanted me to watch it with them. I found the acting stilted (not Jeremy Irons' best performance), the plot meandering, and overall just not a great movie. I'm not inclined to read the books after watching this.
Nice feel good movie
Both of these movies recieved a fair to poor rating by the critics but if you just want to watch an easy going movie without excess violence this is a good package
